For four days on the first weekend of April,
the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg turns the streets of downtown
into a heated race track for Indy.
A series of races along a picturesque
waterfront include 14 turns and a 1.8 mile temporary track. Features
include: Indycar, Indy Pro, American Le Mans, and drifting teams plus
concerts, airshows, Miss Honda Grand Prix competition, autograph sessions,
celebrity sightings and more!
The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in
conjunction with Andretti Green Productions started the St. Petersburg
circuit in 2005 and has committed through 2013.
125,000 fans attended the 2007 race -
breaking attendance records for the prior two years hosted in downtown St. Petersburg.
