WorkNet Pinellas is requesting proposals from qualified employers for the provision of training for their existing workforce.  Through the WorkNet Pinellas Incumbent Worker Training Program, WorkNet is able to provide expense reimbursement grants to businesses for the purpose of providing skills upgrade training to currently-employed full-time workers.

The program does not limit the kinds of training that will be considered for funding.  Training may include industry or company specific skills, technical and computer skills, and "soft-skills" such as leadership, teamwork, and management skills.

The projected total to be awarded is $650,000.  This amount is based on funding availability and is not a guaranteed amount.  Depending on the responses WorkNet reserves the right to limit funding to each employer to a maximum of $100,000.  However, should funding permit, proposals that do exceed $100,000 will be considered.

Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis and shall be scored independently.
