02/05/07 St. Petersburg Developments Among Area’s Largest
According to a recent analysis by the Tampa
Bay Business Journal, six of the seven-county area’s twenty-five
largest construction projects for 2006, ranked by construction cost, were
built in St. Petersburg, including three of the Top Five. In total, these
projects – ranging from high-tech industrial to first-class luxury living –
represent $275-million in investment in the city, and the creation and
retention of numerous jobs. This magnitude of investment is a testament to
the attractiveness of the St. Petersburg market to investors and business
owners.
