Surveyed Regarding International Activity
The City of St. Petersburg’s Economic Development
Department mailed surveys last week to manufacturers and wholesalers
located within the City regarding their international trade activity. The
survey, “2007 Survey of St. Petersburg Businesses for International
Activity”, is designed to give the Economic Development Department greater
insight into how its programs and services can be better tailored to meet
the needs of the City businesses it serves.
If you have received a survey please remember to return
it in the postage-paid envelope enclosed by February 9, 2007 in
order to be eligible for great participation prizes, which include gift certificates
to the Parkshore Grill, write-ups on this web site, and the grand prize – use
of a luxury suite for a 2007 Devil Ray baseball game at St. Petersburg’s
Tropicana Field. If you are a St. Petersburg manufacturer or wholesaler
and have not received a survey, please contact Helaine Neal at 893-7100.
There are many great web sites where companies can sign
up with the U.S. Department of Commerce to receive country and
industry-based leads of foreign companies looking for U.S. companies from which to buy goods, form a joint venture, or consult with for technical
assistance.
