1/15/07 Single-Day Tickets on Sale for 2007 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

Single-day reserved tickets for the 2007 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg are now on sale to the general public.  All ticket prices will remain unchanged from 2006, with race-day prices starting at $40 for adults and $15 for children under 12 with multi-day general admission ticket packages running $45 for adults and $20 for children under 12.  Three-day reserved tickets are also available, with prices starting at $85 for adults and $55 for children under 12.

The third annual event, the second race on the Indy Racing League schedule, will be held March 30 through April 1 with race action to be held again on a temporary street circuit in downtown St. Petersburg.  In addition to the IndyCar Series race on April 1, the event will also feature the first American Le Mans Series race in St. Petersburg on Saturday, March 31, giving fans an additional world-class race event to enjoy.

In addition to individual ticket sales, the Honda Grand Prix is offering a free IndyCar Series paddock pass to groups purchasing 10 or more 3-day reserved tickets.  Group purchases are only available through the box office.  Corporate hospitality and sponsorship packages are also available.

"In only two years, the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg has become a premier sports event that emphasizes the fan experience throughout," said Tim Ramsberger, vice president and general manager of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.  "We've had two exciting IndyCar Series events and we're thrilled to have Danica Patrick, Dan Wheldon, Helio Castroneves and Marco Andretti back for another race.  And, the addition of an American Le Mans Series event only strengthens the weekend and adds value for all our race fans."

The 2006 Honda Grand Prix race weekend featured more than 20 hours of on-track racing activity in addition to more than six hours of concerts sponsored by XM Satellite Radio and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel.  This year’s lineup of events – still being formalized – is shaping up to be just as dynamic and action-packed!

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Honda Grand Prix box office at (727) 824-7223 x225, by visiting the event's website at www.gpstpete.com, or through Ticketmaster.
