10/9/06 Saturday Morning Market Returns to Downtown
The wildly popular Saturday Morning Market returned for
its fifth season October 7th. Located on Central Avenue,
between 1st and 2nd Streets, the market offers more than fifty vendors of food, plants, and crafts
attracting swarms of residents and visitors alike.
Founded in 2002, the market has achieved an extraordinary degree of
success. It was organized by a group of volunteers who share a vision of
creating a strong spirit of community - a place with a colorful upbeat
feeling, where you'll find a unique selection of products, and where you
shop with vendors that you will come to know by name.
The market features a wide variety fresh food, plants
and crafts including:
